Board-Certified Neurologist | Focus on Movement Disorders and Parkinson's Disease
Dr. Brett Mercer is a skilled general neurologist with a special interest in movement disorders, particularly Parkinson's disease. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University before pursuing his Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University. Dr. Mercer went on to receive his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He completed his residency in neurology at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, where he was chief resident and gained comprehensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions. Dr. Mercer combines his extensive training with a compassionate, patient-centered approach, focusing on improving the quality of life for those affected by movement disorders and Parkinson’s disease.
Dr. Mercer is dedicated to staying at the forefront of neurological care, using the latest research and treatment methods to provide personalized, effective care for his patients.
Dr. Mercer’s grandparents moved to Naples in 1957 making him a true Naples native. He is an avid college football fan and enjoys spending his free time on the boat fishing with his dog Stella.
