The CNS Neurosurgery department is comprised of a team of skilled medical professionals including board-certified neurosurgeon, Dr. Gary Colón, M.D, two physician assistants, Courtney Kaiser, PA-C and Jon Nelson, PA-C, and registered nurse, Helen Einer, MSN, RN.
Collectively, we work as a team to diagnose and treat a variety of spine and brain-related conditions. An individualized approach is used to create personalized treatment plans, because, just like our patients, no two brains and/or spines are the same.
We work closely and collaborate with many other specialties including physical therapy, aqua therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, pain management, endocrinology (regarding bone health), orthopedic surgery, neuroradiology, and neurology. Both surgical and non-surgical treatment options are used to help optimize the outcome for every patient. This allows us to create the best possible treatment plan for each and every person with the ultimate goals of eliminating pain, restoring function, and improving overall quality of life.
